Previous visa 12 month ( really 9 month Muay Thai Education) .

Just came through Thailand Immigration.

No issues no questions.

Did give printed e-visa a good look over ( yes printed like the sign says at immigration check point.)

Hope this answers some questions

Hey there! I get that this might seem redundant for a lot of specialists. I'm a retired US military vet over 50, pulling in more than 65,000 baht a month from my pensions, plus I've got a financial portfolio that's over 800,000 baht. After checking out some older posts, it looks like I can qualify for a Retirement visa (without the hassle of depositing 800,000 in a Thai bank), and I'm also interested in the DTV Softcore visa since I want to learn Muay Thai.

So, my main question is: what are the pros and cons of each visa option? If I can qualify for both, which one is easier to deal with in the long run?

I heard that with the DTV soft core visa, you have to leave the country every 180 days, but that's not an issue for me. And most of the gyms offer courses 1 year or less of duration, meaning after that course Legally I would of out of status

So I had my DTV visa granted in Taipei today. I’m currently on a Muay Thai (education visa) that doesn’t end till the 30th of December.

Before returning to thailand do I need to cancel my ED visa ?

I have the DTV stamp now in my passport (sorry if this is a stupid question) just unsure.

Can anybody provide comprehensive and accurate guidance on the DTV please? I am reading conflictive stuff across different sources.

What are the various options? Nomad working, Education (Muay Thai, etc), the others?

What are the fees and does this fee only apply to applicant who can then bring their spouse and dependents at no extra cost?

I would appreciate getting the facts please 🙏

What is the newest update for tourist visa length of stay. I hear it is possible to do 9 months now with extensions. Is this true? If so how?

I may be interested in getting a Mauy Thai education visa in Phuket as well.

If anyone can help please message me, thanks!
