# Can you enter Thailand with a multi-entry tourist e-visa (6 months) issued in Europe from Vientiane, Laos via Nongkhai Border immigration? First time entering with the visa. Is the first-time entry with this e-visa only allowed to enter via Thai airport?

Looking for advice on whether it is now possible for a Laos national to enter Thailand via the Nongkhai land border and what the requirements would be?

And also how long are they likely to be stamped in to Thailand for?

Hello! Is it now confirmed that the Nongkhai/Lao border will likely give 90 day visa exempts (to those 5 bilateral agreement countries)? Is this the only border in Thailand that will allow it though? I did do a search but couldn't find anywhere else. I already know I can fly in and out, but prefer to do a border bounce at any border which will be able to stamp me back in 90 days (Chile passport). Not a TV. Many thanks!

Worth checking your stamp as they dont always read the visa entry on tm6 . Only hete for 3 days this time but still tild them it was wrong. They were very apologetic.

RE: take a car into Laos at nongkhai border

Planning to drive up to nongkhai next week and drop by vientiane for a SETV

Has anyone taken their car over at this border? Ive done it previously at mukdahan so know the general requirements; anything different here? Relatively painless?

Insurance available?

If its a multihour ordeal id skip it and go over on foot.
