# Can you enter Thailand with a multi-entry tourist e-visa (6 months) issued in Europe from Vientiane, Laos via Nongkhai Border immigration? First time entering with the visa. Is the first-time entry with this e-visa only allowed to enter via Thai airport?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can enter Thailand through the Nongkhai Border with a multi-entry tourist e-visa, regardless of it being your first entry. The visa allows entry through any border that accepts foreign visitors, not strictly by air.

If you have a visa you can enter through any border that accepts foreigners, whether it's by air, land, or sea.

maybe I’m paranoid because I heard stories about some borders being better than others. Maybe this doesn’t apply in this case. Thank you

it shouldn't apply to you with a visa. And even if it did apply, nongkhai is one of the easiest borders to enter through.
