Morning all. I have just returned to Thailand from my home country after visiting the Kingdom previously on back to back multi entry tourist visas. The last entry into Thailand I was given a severe grilling and told to " sort my affairs" basically before coming back ". So, when I went back home, almost a month ago, I organised my application and paperwork for the retirement visa, or Non Imm O-A and sent it to the Thai Embassy. Within 4 days ( with ALL requested paperwork sent) I received my passport back, by courier, with attached visa.

One happy farang ! On entry into Thailand yesterday at Phuket International Airport I was graciously received by the I/O, stamped in, and for the first time ever, " Welcome to Thailand sir, enjoy your retirement ".🙂

So nice to be home.
