Can I show a bus ticket from Aranyapethet to Siem Reap as onwards travel, when I check-in for a flight from England?

Or does it have to be a flight?

TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
It is generally acceptable to show a bus ticket as proof of onward travel for a flight check-in from England, as long as it serves the purpose of indicating you will leave the country. However, the final decision lies with the airline or airport regulations, and they may have specific requirements for what constitutes valid proof.

Yes. In theory it only has to be proof of onward travel but at the end of the day it's up to the airline/airport regs whether they let you board or not

Any airline can be fickle especially out of Heathrow, it's a privately owned airport that is on high security alert, sets their own rules and are notorious for passengers to have all the correct travel documentation
