Had to change our flight next week to today to get a last minute flight from Bali to Bangkok today so we aren’t stuck here as they are closing flights. 

Is there any expectations of an onward flights to be booked from Thailand? Will the airlines check? I’ve never experienced this before and I’ve been to Thailand from the U.K. 4 times but feeling on edge now with everything that is happening. 

Has anyone flown in today and where from? I’m flying with Thai Airways.

whether your air carrier will require proof of onward travel when you check in is something you need to talk to THEM about.

They decide if you can fly in visa exempt (without a visa for thailand in your pasport) without proof of onward travel.

Once you get here to stamp in remember you can be asked for proof of funds (20K baht or the equivalent in CASH) proof of onward travel and proof of lodging IF the officer wants to ask you.
