For info - travelled on 90 day Non o visa issued by London Thai embassy - LHR to BKK via Eva Air 12/10/24 my ticket had return date of 24/3/25 (163 days)

In LHR Eva didn't ask to see visa, boarded with no issues. In BKK passport stamped with 90 day and no questions asked about 163 day return date. (Was ready to explain I was applying for Marriage Visa in Dec for 12 month)

Just my experience.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user shared their experience traveling to Thailand on a 90-day Non-O visa issued by the London Thai embassy. They successfully boarded their flight without showing the visa and had no issues upon arrival in Bangkok despite having a return ticket dated beyond their visa expiration. Comments from others highlighted that while it was generally normal to not be questioned with a visa, practices can vary by airline and that typically onward tickets are required for other travelers. Additional comments made clarifications about applying for a Marriage Visa.

You will not be applying for a Marriage Visa in December, you already have your Marriage Visa so it December you will be applying for a 12 month Extension of Stay based on marriage.

No need for onward ticket with non-o visa, but what are you going to do for the other 73 days ???

The US and UK airlines usually ask. But others very infrequently

You were lucky, but you post it here and other people may think that this is normal procedure but it is not!! The airliner can refuse you on the flight when you don’t can show that you will leave in Thailand before the end date of your visa or visa excemt period

Not with non-O. It's a long stay visa.

it is I travel monthly into Thailand never been asked. Asian airlines and most continental european airlines don’t ask. US based airlines from what I have heard ask all the time.
