Does Thailand have a residency requirement on her visas?

I know that long term visas from some countries have a residency requirement per year. I have not found any information about this in Thailand. The only thing that is remotely close is the need to file tax if you stay in Thailand for more than 180 days in a year, just wondering.

Best visa for somebody who wants to spend 6 months a year in Thailand ( 50 years old ) financial dependent.

All suggestions welcome , the quickest + most simple would be helpful if there is such a thing here ?! 😅 .

Anyone else come across the issue of having to report into the Immigration dept every 90 days still? I'd had assumed that this requirement wasn't needed as we have a visa for 180 days and if we need to extend to 360 max, we have to see the immigration to renew anyhow. And if youre renting a condo, TM30 form is needed.

Anyone else found the same?
