Got rejected in Hanoi for soft power after few days of applying while providing all the documents below:
● Passport photo page – A clear image of the first page of your passport (no fingers visible, good lighting, no cropped edges).
● Portrait photo – A recent photo of yourself against a white background, facing the camera directly (good lighting, no cropped edges).
● Bank statement – A personal bank statement showing the last 3 months of transactions, with a final balance of at least 500,000 THB.
● Invitation letter from the Muay Thai gym.
● Proof of residence in the country of application – A hotel booking for at least one week.
● Visa – E-visa, visa, and/or entry stamp (depending on your case).
● Current address in your home country.
● Active phone number.
● Thai phone number (if available).
● Address in Thailand, including your landlord’s phone number.
In addition to the above I was using an agency that has good reputation that was helping with gathering and submitting all the required info and documents. This was a very odd experience as my partner’s application was submitted a day before mine and hers is still under pending approval.
