Having a baby in a thai hospital on a DTV visa.

Was hoping to find out some information on this.

My partner and i are both Australian citizens. We have both been travelling to thailand on and off for 6 years and hoping to move on a DTV visa shortly however was wondering the process of having a baby would go.

I already have thai health insurance sorted. Its moreso wanting to hear peoples experiences and if theres anything i should be aware about .

Hi all, looking for recommendations for a good tax accountant in Phuket (chalong) area if possible.

Will be changing my residency from Australian to Thailand for taxes and also have a company in Hong Kong where i currently get paid.

Ideal accountant would be across these expat situations, up to date with latest changes vs latest rumours and good english would be great as I'll have a lot of questions. Doesn't need to be the cheapest accountant, just a good one.

How do Australians go about living overseas with Centrelink payments?

I keep hearing that lots of people do it, but the 2 times I asked c*ntlink, the told me we get cut off after 28 days

DSP or aged pension.

Is this correct?

I have asked this question before but it was some time ago when my partner was pregnant, I am an Australian and i now have thai twins to my partner, they were born on the 13 September, so yes there only a couple of months old, I was there for there birth and I am on there birth certificate and they have my last name, the question is about Australian citizenship by Decent, will it be easier to do through the embassy in Bangkok or do in Australia, and what does the process involve. If you have done something like this, any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all,

As I like to stay in Thailand long term am I better off getting a Retirement Visa rather than a 6 month multiple entry visa? I don’t want to give up my Aus Citizenship or Residency. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Cheers
