Does anyone know if Pathum Thani immigration office provides Re-Entry Permits? I am residing in Pathum Thani province, but usually I do everything (visa extension, 90 day, re entry permit) at the Chaengwattana office in Bangkok since i used to reside in that province. I went to Chaengwattana for my visa extension and re-entry permit last month: the officer for the visa said it was fine regardless of my residing province, but the officer for the re-entry permit told me to write a Bangkok-based address for my permit application, so this time i am thinking if i should go to the one in Pathum Thani instead? Wondering if anyone has similar experiences. Thank you.

Hi everyone, I've been renewing my marriage-based extension annually for a few years now. At my appointment yesterday, for the first time ever, the Immigration Officer asked me to get a fingerprint and a clearance report. They gave me a letter to submit and get back once it's ready.

Has anyone else experienced this recently? Is this a new standard procedure, or could it be a random check?

Any insight would be appreciated!

Hello, I'd like to check if anyone else has encountered this issue.

I heard that the Kasikorn Bank (K Bank) branch inside the Chaengwattana Immigration Office has closed. The closest alternative K Bank I know of is in Laksi, but it doesn't open until 11:00 AM.

Can anyone confirm: Is it required to obtain the official bank letter on the very same day you submit your O-A visa extension application?

Thank you

Hi all, for Chaengwattana, what is the earliest I can apply for yearly non-o extension (based on marriage) from my 90 day non-o visa- is it 45 days or 30 days remaining?

In my previous yearly extensions is was basically a month’s consideration time, but it seems some have said 21 days- is this the norm now at CW? Thanks so much- trying to figure out timings before leaving for UK Christmas.

When do slots for appointments open up at Chaengwattana (specifically for retirement extension)? It is on a rolling basis? Once a month? And if so, what time of day do they become available?

Thanks.

Good morning.

I am a extending visa nonO ( based on marriage to Thai husband)after moving to new location. Previously at Nonthaburi immigration, now it is Chaengwattana.

Do I need to bring the documents from my previous extension at Nonthaburi.

Asking the question, because this was a requirement for my first extension at Nonthaburi.

I understand each immigration office is different in it's requirements. Handouts do not mention this.

If no one knows, I shall bring all documents so that will be covered.

Thank you.

I know I've asked this question before however, with all the rule changes...

What is the current list of requirements for extending a 90-day visa based on visiting family to the 1 year please...? I've an appointment booked for early next week at IT Square

Thanks in advance.

Hi, I left my job in Bangkok and have moved to the south of Thailand.

My work permit has been cancelled and I’ve just received the cancellation paperwork from my boss, which I was told that I needed.

Do I need to return to changwhattana and get them to add the cancellation stamp to my passport or can I just go to the closest land boarder, exit and enter?

I’ll be going back to a Non-O marriage visa.

Many thanks 🙏🏼

Hi,

Has anyone applied annual extension based on Thai Spouse at Chaengwattana lately without having online booking?

I have to travel for work and next free slot for online booking is September 12.

Just wondering how long is the wait if just go and apply without booking the slot beforehand.

Thanks.
