Hey, when you go to Vietnam to apply for the DTV, do they require you go personally to the embassy at any point? Should you stay in a city with an embassy or can you stay in any city in the country?

When applying for the DTV as a remote worker do you need to go for an interview? This could become difficult as i am of to work every six weeks and can not just take time off whenever it suits the embassy

I’ll be applying for my ED Visa in Malaysia using the e-visa system- I am wondering if I have to stay in the city I apply in? I.e. if I apply in Kuala Lumpur, can I wait for approval in Penang or Lankawi? (Asking because my school had me choose the city that I’m applying from)

I am Japanese, currently living in Thailand, and plan to apply for DTV in Fukuoka. After approval, I would like to go to China and enter Thailand from China. Can I use the flight into Thailand that I fill in on the application as departing from China instead of departing from Fukuoka? Also, if it takes a long time to get approval, can I go to China before it is approved?
