I’m scheduled to visit immigration tomorrow, the 15th, for my first “check-in” (not sure of the exact terminology) for my new Non-o visa based on marriage.

Long story short, my dog needed surgery yesterday, so while I remembered the date, I lost track of the days.

Does anyone know what I should expect when I go on Monday morning? It seems I’m not able to do this online.

Many thanks in advance.

Applying from the Netherlands at 23 aug.

After 3 days they asked for extra documentation. Send on Friday 30. After a few hours the status changed to pending approval. Does anyone know how much longer it might take? It’s getting very close to my leaving date..

Hello all,

In the process of doing the eVisa for DTV. There are two questions in the eVisa. 1. flight details and 2. accommodation details. I haven't booked either yet. Is this a show-stopper for my application? Do I NEED these 2 pieces of information before I can submit my eVisa DTV for consideration?

Cheers all.

Hello Everyone,

Non-O Immigrant Visa Based on retirement/ over 50 Yearly extension in Hua Hin.

I've just been to the bank to get my 1-year statements and I'll be able to pick them up in 7 days.

Am I able to use a bit of money above the 800,000 baht in this account while waiting for the statements or does the 1 year Bank Statement total have to match the account total on the day I do the renewal.

Thank you as always

Have a question about filling out a re-entry form (TM.8) for immigration (don't want to do it at the airport) as a retiree on an extension.

On the 2nd side, it asks for type of Visa and issued at/date, does that refer to your original visa? (e.g. Non-Immigrant-O) - mine was many years ago , or do they really just mean your last extension date? (it also asks for arrival date, should that be your last arrival in Thailand (as on the TM.7) or the original date you first got a Non-Immigrant visa to Thailand?)

As far as I remember, I've never had to put down my original Non-O visa issue date or arrival date on any forms before....

Thanks.

Great day for me today. LTR finished, stamped in and set for 5 years. For me, it was actually easier doing the paperwork for that than my METV.

One thing I did was to make a point of asking about the 1 year report because I’ve heard different opinions on it. They flat out said, it is one year. Leave The Kingdom and it resets. They actually put the report on March 10 2025 card in my passport. And, I asked about the transferring from old passport to a new one and it’s very easy to do.

Hello group.

Has anyone did lately only NON-O visa in at the Thai Embassy in Vientiane? Need some extra info and to be sure I got the right papers.

I am currently In Thailand under a working visa (valid till 2025). My wife and daugher are under a 90 days depended visa (did not extend on time -long story) and have to apply again for another 90 days and then extend in here properly.

What papers do you have submitted (along with the normal ones). My question is related to the bank account statement (as my wife does not have a bank account). Has to be a Thai one / foreign account or it's not requested?

thanks!

I arrived here the 29th of November on a 60 day tourist visa. I would like to get a 1 year retirement visa. Do I have to get the 90 day Non O first? When do I need to go to immigration?
