I did it myself with help from posts from this group, and Claude to ensure everything was covered (and also didn't over-provide), and was approved. I qualified and everything was legitimate. I also uploaded all 3 pdf's with everything included for it to cross check every single detail and avoid any errors, a couple of which it did spot. Much more cost effective than paying an agent 40k baht.

An agent could help ensure your documents are correct and help you put things together, but there is still no guarantee.

I have spoken to people who had an agent provide bank statements, balance etc when the person did not qualify (one even said they did not have to leave Thailand). I would highly recommend avoiding this type of service and only applying if everything is completely legitimate.

An agent will not make you qualify if you don’t have the funds, a regular job, a real reason for the visa, etc…..

do you have to have the funds for a DTV education visa? What are the requirements as I don’t have a huge nest egg just get SSDI/100% military disability. Approximately 6k usd/month. Will this suffice?

, the moderator can step in here if necessary. I think you need to pay the application fee and have the required amount of funds in the bank to apply for the DTV successfully. Possibly a regular education visa would be more appropriate. Thank you greatly for your service and sorry for the personal cost.
