How can I apply for a single entry tourist visa for Thailand while in Bali?
Hello, I am currently in Bali and will be heading to Thailand in a month. I have a uk passport and I wanted to apply for a single entry tourist visa for my trip. I am so confused by the form, I put in Bali as location, Jakarta Thai embassy but when I went to review it had changed from current location to living in Bali who I am not.
Has anyone had any experience with this that they could share please? I would be very grateful 🙏

OPLynnette Munoz It is so confusing! I have read that you can’t but when i have filled the form out it changes current place to living in. I may just send it off and hope for the best!

Indigo Aly you apply and might be asked to show proof of where you are. If you're applying in Bali etc, then you can show proof of being there. Address/hotel/entry stamp/ etc.

If you're planning to come for Christmas you might be a bit early. A tourist visa, which is what you will need, is only valid for 90 days from the day it is issued

thanks for the info, I am never that organised in advance ☺️ I will be arriving on 18th October but want to stay for Christmas which means the visa exemption will no longer cover me. I would love to sort a setv but is confusing applying when you are away from your home country 🙏John **********

there's no difference other than your location and the consulate you apply through, the evisa website is common across all consulates

Indigo Aly the 60-days single entry tourist visa, in the e-visa system it is NOT called SETV, it is called "Tourist Visa Leisure Activities" (chose single entry) instead

If you are only staying a month or two and you are not a regular visitor you could come on visa exemption without a visa. You will get 30 days which can be extended by another 30 at the immigration office. But you will need to show an onward flight within 30 days.
