Hi, I’d previously read that as of 01/06/26, tourist visa rules for the visa exemption scheme changed, reducing the tourist visa on arrival to 30 days’ validity for all passport holders. However, online info seems to still indicate UK passport holders will get a 60-day visa on arrival?

Can anyone confirm please?🌻

Exemption and voa are 2 different things. Either way, no changes have been implemented as of yet

Tourist visa rule changed and you get with a UK passport a visa on arrival.

BOTH statements are incorrect.

EVEN when visa rules change it has nothing to do for people travel without a visa.

With a valild UK passport, travel with purpose tourism and the Thailand Arrival card you can use the 60 days Visa Exempt Scheme

Not a 60 day on arrival, I trust you are referring to visa exempt. No official changes as of yet . To take affect , the change has to be posted in Royal Gazette and be the new rule will be the case after 15 days

Once the Royal Gazette will publish it, the new rule will go into effect 15 days after this publication.

It has not yet been published.

If you will arrive up to 14 days after publication, you'll get 60 days.
