Do the recent DTV application rule changes affect the Non-O marriage visa application in Vientiane for Singaporean passport holders?
Hey guys with the recent changes with the rules of dtv application, i have a question. Does the rule only applies to dtv? If i'll be applying my non o marriage visa in Vientiane with a singaporean passport would i still be able to? Or must i return to sg? Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers
Answer summary
The recent changes in the DTV application rules only apply to the DTV visa itself. If you're holding a Singaporean passport and wish to apply for a Non-O marriage visa in Vientiane, you should be able to do so without needing to return to Singapore. It's advisable to check the embassy's website or contact them directly for the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding your specific situation.

I would check the embassy website carefully. The best way is to email them and ask for clarification. For example, 6 months METV is issued only to Lao resident at Thai Embassy in Laos.
