For UK Expats. Today I received a message from Halifax bank informing me my credit card account will be closed within 65 days. This comes right out of the blue. Just a heads up for Halifax/Lloyds TSB/Royal Bank of Scotland customers that you might be getting a message in the near future...
***Update. Just called Halifax and have been told a review has flagged you are not a UK resident so do not qualify for a credit card. Shame they told me 4 years ago it was fine and have happily updated my address to a Thai one 3 times, used my Thai number for their app and sent new credit cards to my Thai address 🤣
I’m looking to buying a motorbike for our 5 month stay every year. We will keep it by our close friends who live in Thailand for when we are not there.
Does anyone know what I need in terms of paperwork.
Do I need a thai license? I’ve read conflicting info.
I have a current bike license for all bikes.
Any tips on where I can get a good secondhand motorbike, in Bangkok area or near.
How difficult is it to get a Thai drivers license in Thailand? I see all these ads for agents who help with getting the license but I don’t know if I want/or need to pay an agent.
Fyi, I’ll be renting an apt so I’ll have a lease agreement first day outta ASQ.
