Gregory Peters . . . the online e-extension used to be a pilot project of the Immigration in Bangkok. It was supposed to enable an online application to a touristic 30-days extension. I have never heard of anyone successfully using it for a 1-year extension out of the Non-Imm-O Retirement Visa. This application still needs your physical visit on Immigration and the fulfillment of all requirements that come with it
Greg Alexander I understand that. I attempted to book an appointment for this year but September and October are fully booked already. Dreading the thought of spending all day at Chaeng Watthana I noticed they were now offering more services online, the retirement extension was one of them but having experience with Immigration web sites in the past, I was interested to see if anyone on here had actually done it successfully.
Gregory Peters you have the option to hire an agent to handle the 1-year extension for you. If you use your own funds, it would cost something between 12- and 15,000 THB
Ger Siebers On this website, you apply for an E-Visa. You don't apply for the 1-year extension. It can be done up from THREE months before your planned travel
