I applied for the DTV visa in Frankfurt and completed all requested documents on October 16.

It has now been 25 working days with no update and no way to contact the consulate.

Is it possible to enter Thailand now on visa-exemption and then do a short exit & re-entry once the DTV visa is approved? ChatGPT says it should work, but I want to confirm with real experiences.

I’m American, I arrived on 30-day Visa-exemption, and have already extended at immigration one time for 30 days — until February 24th.

I wish to stay in Thailand until February 28th. What should I do?

Anyone been to the Immigration Offices on Koh Samui? Is it just as easy to extend a visa-exemption stamp here?

Any insurance recommendations? Flying in with Visa-Exemption. Ty!
