Id like to apply for my Tax Id Number (TIN) to withdraw my salary from Upwork. I called around the revenue departments and they couldn’t understand me as they don’t speak English. What should I do? Please advise me 🙏

A question under the category Anything else.

I need a Certificate of Residence from Thailand tax office, not the one that I can get in immigration.

Do anyone knows how to get this?

Hopefully somewhere in Phuket.

Hi everyone,

So, I will quit my job in October until the end of my WP, and I don't know why but the lady in charge of the documents in my company misunderstood completely and already informed the tax office that I resigned in August...

My work permit expires the 06 October 2023

My visa non-b expires the 16 October 2023

I've been in Thailand with this company for 3 years now.

I am in the Nonthaburi province.

I will do my job until my work permit expires, and on the 05 October I will fly out of Thailand and come back with a Non-O Marriage visa anyway.

At the tax office, they said that they cannot cancel the documents that our staff sent, and if I had to get back in the system, we have to send again all the documents.

To be honest, for just one month, we don't want to do it.

Now my question is, will the tax service, inform immigration that I already resigned or not?

Or can I just stay until the 05th October, cancel my work permit and my visa, and fly out on the same day ? (this is what they told us I will have to do at the Nonthaburi Immigration office.

Cancel both WP+VISA and fly out of Thailand on the same day)

I will come back in Thailand with a marriage visa (all documents are in order).

Now my real fear is that I am currently in Thailand "illegaly"... I have a wife, house and kid here, I don't want to risk anything.

Thanks a lot
