Looking for Proven "Soft Power" DTV Programs in Pattaya (2026)

Hi everyone! I’m planning my move to Pattaya this June and am looking for personal recommendations for DTV-qualified Soft Power programs in the area.

Please allow me to ask related to DTV,

My visa just approved and it’s stated Tourist TR instead of DTV and validity only 6 months

Kindly need your advice

Anyone have knowledge or experience with Thai Living Landscapes? They offer a cultural program that supposedly falls under the DTV soft power category. But it's a relatively new program, by their own admission in email correspondence. I'm just wanting to prevent getting scammed.

Is there any info out there about known scams related to DTV?

What's the typical cost of soft power programs? I know the costs vary, but concrete examples are appreciated. Thank you

• Embassy: Los Angeles, California

• Category: Soft Power - Discover Thai Nature Seminar

• Date Applied: September 16, 2025

• Documents Provided:

- Passport

- Updated Passport Pic

- Discover Thai Nature Certificate

- 6 mos Savings Statements of 15K Baht

- Lease Agreement**

• Request for Further Document - received September 17, 2025

- “Document indicating current location: Please upload your ID card or utility bill as proof of residency that you’re in our jurisdiction”

• **Document Provided:

- I wrote a letter of explanation due to my lease agreement being a month to month plan (no contract), and I don’t have to pay any additional bills here as I’m only renting a room. I also don’t have my mail or any other important documents at this address, only my PO Box which is listed on my drivers license. In the letter I offered to take a picture of myself on the property, but that wasn’t needed!

• September 18, 2025: APPROVED

This was a very quick and easy process for me, and I’m excited for the seminar! Please let me know if you have any questions!

do u need payslip/ showmoney for applying dtv with softpower> muaythai cooking or medic appointment? from 3rd countries(thailand neightbour countries)?

Soft power with Discover Thai Nature

No additional documents requested. Birth date, passport number, expirations all correct, 500k in the account with 3 months provided. Same soft power invitation that others were successful with prior to the new year.

I went to the embassy in person to try to talk to someone and they just kept saying to apply online and call the phone number. They also said just fly to Bangkok and they will sort me out at the airport (lol). When you call the phone number it just hangs up when you request to speak to an operator.

You can see through the window that they are just eating oranges and playing iPhone games.

Some reports of others as well just being arbitrary rejected for all soft power ever since the change to 10 business days processing time.
