Soft power with Discover Thai Nature
No additional documents requested. Birth date, passport number, expirations all correct, 500k in the account with 3 months provided. Same soft power invitation that others were successful with prior to the new year.
I went to the embassy in person to try to talk to someone and they just kept saying to apply online and call the phone number. They also said just fly to Bangkok and they will sort me out at the airport (lol). When you call the phone number it just hangs up when you request to speak to an operator.
You can see through the window that they are just eating oranges and playing iPhone games.
Some reports of others as well just being arbitrary rejected for all soft power ever since the change to 10 business days processing time.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user shares their frustrating experience regarding the rejection of a visa application for Thailand, despite having submitted all required documents and meeting criteria. After their application was submitted in mid-January, it was rejected in late January without any clear reasoning. The user visited the embassy seeking clarification but received unhelpful responses, including advice to travel to Bangkok for a resolution. Other comments mention similar experiences and skepticism regarding the legitimacy of the soft power program used in the application.
It actually looks like a scam course. It doesn't appear to be real. I think it was set up just to profit from the DTV. Sounds like some people got approved with it cause the embassy they applied at didn't look into it too much. But anyone with half a brain can tell just by looking through their website that it's not a real course
I know the programme you are referring to. I spoke to them on online and they said to use Cambodia or Laos. They also have a relationship with a certain service provider.. Given the laws of Thailand I am saying nothing else. :-)
Anonymous participant Nope I am not saying that. I doubt the course providers have any influence in the matter. They seem very genuine in their cause to provide education in this area.
