Bite the bullet and do it yourself. Go to your local immigration office and ask for the list of required documents and forms for Non O visa based on retirement. Make sure you give yourself enough time. Invariably there will be some problem, misunderstanding or missing information when you go with your completed application. Stay calm and don't expect it to go perfectly the first time. It really is worth learning how to do it yourself, if you're retired you have all the time you need and it is really not difficult once you learn how it works. Using an agent can cause problems further down the line.
so this company is happy for many of their customers to make false statements to answer a question which I assume some regulator somewhere is making them ask 🤔 I can't imagine this can have anything but a negative impact on their business into Thailand, madness 🤦♂️
I have Bangkok and Krungsri. Krungsri are in my opinion much better for day to day use and service however they have a limit of 50,000 on international deposits. Bangkok have no limit.
Had a similar problem a couple of years ago. Easiest and cheapest way to fix was to have a weekend away in Penang allow visa to lapse then go down the Non O route. I still have medical insurance but better and cheaper than the 'approved' providers.
