I’m interested how someone else interprets this response for my application question on amount of months seasoned the 500k needs for DTV HCMC consulate… I see it as only the final balance needs to be 500k.?

Please submit your transactions latest 6 months in your bank account and ensure your closing balance not less than 500,000 Baht. (it can be from any bank, in any currency)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirement states that for the DTV visa application, the applicant must submit bank statements for the last 6 months, ensuring that the closing balance at the end of each month is not less than the equivalent of 500,000 Baht. Comments suggest that the closing balances of all statements should meet this threshold, and the entire transaction history may be required to demonstrate financial stability.

That is how I read it too. Not 500k each month for 6 months.

And there 6 month lease in Thailand. Probably just want to determine applicants and only do locals.

I take it mean they want 6 months bank statements where the closing balance at the end of each month is not less than the equivalent of 500k Baht. They dont care what the currency is as long as, at the end of each statement period, it converts to 500k Baht. Also, it seems that, if there are number transactions in the account you are submitting, they want to see the entire statement - not just the first page. They probably want to see the money flow.

A. Nony Mous I disagree They want 6 months worth of statements as proof the account has been yours for a while and the final balance must be 500K THB or more

Incorrect. Not for each month, final month. I work for an embassy and your interpretation is invalid
