Do Danish documents need to be apostille-stamped for the Thailand Digital Nomad Visa application?

Hi everyone,

I’m a Danish applicant for the Thailand Digital Nomad Visa (DTV). Does anyone know if Danish documents (e.g., CVR business registration, birth certificates, or marriage certificates) need to be apostille-stamped in Denmark to be accepted as valid documentation for the DTV application? Or would it be sufficient to have them translated by an approved Thai translator, like Sawadee Translation? Any insights or experiences from fellow Danes would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Danish applicant inquiring about the Thailand Digital Nomad Visa seeks clarification on whether Danish documents, such as business registrations and certificates, need an apostille in Denmark or if approved translations are sufficient. A comment suggests that translation may not be necessary if applying directly through the Thai embassy in Copenhagen.

If you apply from Denmark I don’t think translation is necessary. Your application will be processed at the Thai embassy in Copenhagen.

ok. You probably need translation then since it’s the local embassy processing the application, as far as I know.
