What documents do I need to apply for a Non-O visa in Laos to obtain a Thai bank account?
Hi people would appreciate some of your knowledge regarding applying for a o visa 90 days from lao.been informed from a agent that is the best way to get a Thai bank account. I need to know what documents I need to take with me.

I did mine Laos Vientiane about a month ago be prepared to spend at least 5 days there as you have to relinquish your passport for processing mine was put in Monday morning and had to wait till late Thursday to get it back I had to supply up to date bank details for the last 3 months statements from my home country of residence I used an agent from Vientiane to do all for me he is very knowledgeable and helpful with the process he can meet you at the Laos side of the Nong Khia friendship bridge I can pm his number and messenger address if you want, cheers

What? All visas are done online now. There is no relinquishing your passport to anyone. The visa arrives by e-mail.Paul *********

Why not check out the requirements online? Both the Thai embassy and the consulate in Vientiane have websites.Go for the consulate.

You'll need copies of bank statements with proof of funds as required for the Non-O you will be applying for. Is it retirement or marriage? Check the Embassy for their specific requirements.
