What are the mandatory requirements for applying for a 60-day Tourist Visa (TV) in Thailand, and how can applicants navigate these requirements?

Hi Guy's, what's with some of the mandatory questions when applying online for a 60 TV? How did you get round them?

8 . A confirmation letter from employer, School, Self-assessment, Pension statement - FOR WHAT!?

9 . Identity of the person inviting you to stay e.g. Thai ID card, Passport - NO ONE INVITING ME!!

10 . Applicant is required to upload his/her passport pages which contain all travel records for the past 12 months (1 year) since the last international trip - NOT BEEN ANYWHERE!!

11 . Applicant must apply for e-Visa via specific Embassy/Consulate conforming with his/her consular jurisdiction and residency. Applicant is required to upload document that can verify his/her current residency - PASSPORT AGAIN??

 All done now, just unnecessary replication and over enthusiastic on detail for a TV. Not like I’m emigrating there 🤦‍♂️ but this is Thailand.

 good luck. Used to venture to the other neighboring countries. With C, land crossings closed, Flights a paperwork is a nightmare, quarantine is a con man's dream

I asked the same thing last week, this is how I got round it and got visas approved last Friday

8. I uploaded bank statement again as I’ve left my job to go travelling

9. Accommodation booking screen grab

10. I took a photo of empty passport page!

11.first page of passport again

All seems OTT for a 60 TR but the above worked for me 👍🏻

8: say you work for yourself and take time off when you choose.

9: hotel booking confirmation or your own passport

10: Take picture of your last travel stamp and the next blank page

11: utility bill in your name or something like car insurance with your name and address on.

 I uploaded bank statement twice and it worked fine... So yeah exactly what Lisa above has said is the way I did mine and it came back in 2 days. Good luck
