I was applying for a tourist visa (60 days), and I observed that a few people were turned away because they couldn't prove their bank statements. The person before me submitted a bank statement in EUR from his country, and the officer asked to show his current balance. There seemed to be a discrepancy in the balance submitted. Unfortunately, I don't know how it ended for him. For me, I just showed mine and all went well.
thank you ๐. You showed a Bank account balance from your home country bank for the Thai Tourist Visa... bank account balance of 20,000 Thai baht or more.. or equivalent currency in your home country. ??
I showed a bank statement from Kasikon Bank that I opened a few months ago while I was on an ED visa. I had doubts if they would insist on a bank statement from my home country, but the officers did not say anything.
