I am currently in Ho Chi Minh, can I apply at both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh at the same time? I don't mind paying twice.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user asks if they can apply for a Thai visa at both the Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City consulates while currently in Ho Chi Minh. The responses suggest that applicants should apply only through the consulate associated with their location, which in this case is the Ho Chi Minh City consulate. There are warnings against applying at both locations, as this could lead to application rejection for providing false information.

DTV_BegPecker So it means I can arrive in Da Nang and wait for approval there? If they don't call me to meet in person, I can also leave from Da Nang? But for the application, I pick either HCMC or Hanoi? Is it correct? It said E-visa, does it apply to DTV? Thanks

- No, this is from the HCMC consulate page. It lists which provinces fall under them. So you can stay in DaNang, but you apply via HCMC. If you go to the embassy’s website in Hanoi, it will list other provinces, in the north. You need to be in one of those provinces to apply via the Hanoi embassy.

DTV_BegPecker OIC thanks, cos I can find the original announcement from the HCMC page, but the page of Hanoi is just a landing page, can't go anywhere. Thank you very much.

If you are in HCMC then you apply at the HCMC consulate. You can't apply at the Hanoi consulate.

You apply via the jurisdiction where you are located. Vietnam is broken into two parts, so you apply via the embassy/consulate associated with where you are
