Hello friends,

I’m curious if anyone has successfully gotten a 60 day tourist visa at the Thai embassy in Hanoi? I’m currently in Vietnam for the next month, but planning on heading back into Thailand after my travels. Any experience/advice would be helpful. ❤️

Also curious about other hubs in SEA that will grant 60 day tourist visas.

Old information. Covid vaccination isn't required anymore and previously, under the old rules it was vaccination or a test.

Meet the requirements and you shouldnt have a problem. Savannakhet, Laos is easy for Tourist visa.

Laos, Phnom Penh, Malaysia all do. I thought Vietnam did as well. Here is the link to the Hanoi Embassy, don't see where they need the resident's card. And if in Hanoi, check out Dream Beans... awesome egg coffee and great owners.

If you don't have a Vietnamese Resident's Card you can't apply for a TR visa-- certainly neither in Hanoi nor in Ho Chi Minh.

As a consolation, do enjoy THE BEST coconut coffee here, next to the tiny lake with the wreckage of an American downed B52 bomber.
