So I am trying to book my flight to come out on or about September 15th. I plan on coming in on a 60 day visa, extending it to a 90 day visa and using an agent to help me with my retirement visa.
Is it ok to have a return flight later than the 60 days you get on your original visa or does your return flight when passing through customs the first time in Bangkok HAve to be returning within 60 days?
Does that make sense?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The primary question relates to the return flight schedule when entering Thailand on a 60-day visa. Responses indicate that it is acceptable to have a return flight scheduled beyond the initial 60 days. Furthermore, some users suggest alternatives, like purchasing an onward ticket, as airlines may require proof of onward travel. There are discussions about the advantages of obtaining a retirement visa before traveling and the challenges of opening a bank account without a long-term visa.
