Hello! I have a few questions regarding a 30-day extension. Apologies if this has already been asked.

My mom arrived on 29 June 2025 with a 60-day visa.

* E-visa shows expiry on 24 Aug 2025

* Passport stamp shows expiry on 27 Aug 2025

I submitted everything on the VFS e-extension portal, but the earliest appointment I could get is 25 Aug 2025.

Wondering -

1. Which date should I follow as the actual expiry?

2. If it’s 24 Aug, will going on 25 Aug be considered a 1-day overstay?

3. Or should I just go to Chaengwattana immigration and do it in person instead?

Thank you so much for your advice ka πŸ™

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user's mother has a 60-day visa expiring on August 24, 2025, according to the electronic visa, and a passport stamp valid until August 27, 2025. They are confused about which expiry date to follow, the implications of going for an extension appointment on August 25, and whether to go to Chaengwattana immigration instead. Other community members clarify that the stamp allows her stay until August 27, so an appointment on August 25 will not result in an overstay.

The visa was valid for her to enter the country up until August 24th from the date it was issued.

When she entered she was stamped in for most likely 60 days which was until August 27th

The fact that two days are close together has nothing to do with each other.

The visa was used the day she stamped into the country and is no good anymore

She's allowed to be here until the 27th just like her entry stamp says,

so showing up on the 25th will be fine and they will add the 30 days from the expiration of her current stamp

@Pi ****
remember for the VFS Global eExtension service in Bangkok you go to Chaengwattana 3rd floor, <- that's where they do the eExtensions

not second floor where the main immigration office is.
