Hi everyone, I’m visiting Thailand in August for three weeks on a 60 days visa. I’m planning to visit Laos for about a week during this time and I do realize that I’ll have to apply for an online visa to enter Laos.
My question , after my visit to Laos would I have any issues re-entering Thailand, are there any procedures I’d have to take care of or is it straight forward to re-enter Thailand.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is visiting Thailand on a 60-day visa and plans to travel to Laos for a week. They are inquiring about the re-entry process to Thailand, particularly if they will face any issues or need to complete certain procedures. Comments suggest that re-entering Thailand is typically straightforward, especially if the traveler has a multiple entry visa or a re-entry permit, and mention that visa requirements can vary based on how the initial entry was made.
For a three weeks stay on a 60 days visa exemption there’s no issues to re-enter Thailand and get another visa exemption at the border/airport. You just fill out a new TDAC.
If you really entered Thailand on a 60 days tourist VISA you applied for online as a e-visa and payed around 40 USD before you entered Thailand, you’ll need to purchase a re-entry permit in order to get stamped back in again.
Thanks for your prompt response. My visa type is 60 days visa exemption so I take it according to your advice I’ll just have to fill a form to re-enter Thailand.
