Terminology is very important in addition to a healthy dose of patience 🧡🧡🧡

Even after all your coaching I still got the wrong ticket after temp screening because I said 90 day check in when I meant 90 day extension 🤣

This is why I went after 2pm to avoid the crowd and limit my wait time in case of any confusion and it paid off 🧡🧡🧡

This was the most efficient trip to immigration ever and I truly appreciate everyone we encountered 🧡🧡🧡

Just to clarify once we receive the 1 year extension of stay we:

1. Must do 90 day check ins (in person, online or by mail)

2. Apply for another extension in person in Chiang Mai next year

It is my understanding that as long as I am employed with the same company we can continue to apply for extensions in person each year in the country and we do not have to do anymore border runs. Is this correct?

I asked the school about that, my documents are already prepared in my maiden name. We are currently waiting on my husband's documents. I do not travel often so it will not be an inconvenience to carry both passports. I just wish I was allowed to rip the page out of the old one and staple it to the new one 😂 but no worries 💚
