TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend a 60-day tourist visa in Thailand to an additional 30 days, individuals need to prepare the following documents: 1) Passport and a copy of it, 2) A passport-sized photo, 3) TM7 form (completed), 4) A copy of the entry stamp, 5) Payment of the extension fee (around 1900-2500 Baht). It is also advisable to have proof of accommodation, such as the address and contact number where the individual is staying. Note that the TM30 form may not be necessary unless on a long-stay visa.
GO to Bangkok immigration at 6 AM To join the que which opens at 8
There will be loads of Chinese there, when the queues start to open people will start to come out of the woodwork and join their friends who they have saved their places for, It's a complete joke
I’ve been happy with Bangkok Banks service for years now. I arrived in Thailand and on a 30 day exemption. I opened an account with zero problems. But, that was three and a half years ago. I think the banks were desperate for new customers. As Covid was still an issue.
wow. In Jomtien I paid 1900 Baht to a visa agency on top of 1900 Baht for the actual extension. They did all paperwork & pics. In and out of immigration in a snap.
not needed for 30day extension on tourist visa. TM30 only for those on long stay visas (retirement, DTV etc) when you have to report to immigration every 90days with proof of residency which is what a TM30 is.
I went to Imm at Udon Thani. Just handed over my passport. They did everything else. They filled in various forms that I had to sign, I had to pay the 2 ,000 fee. In and out in 20 minutes. Very easy
passport, copy of passport (can be done at the shops nearby), a small photo, tm30, 1900 baht. plus a few hours of waiting ? bring a blue pen cos you will need to fill up 3 forms.
