Hi All, I'm on a Non O Retirement visa extension out of Chiang Mai. I'm thinking of moving to Pattaya. Can I do my next annual extension down there, or do I have to start afresh with a totally new Visa from there?

Normally only your first Extension of Stay from a Non-O purchased in Thailand needs to be from the same Immigration Office that issued the Non-O.

What? You implied that he had to get his first extension at the office where he got the Non-O (though he never said he got an in country Non-O), I said, he can get the extension anywhere. You contradict yourself with your second post.

Check with your bank as well, see if you can get printouts from Pattaya if your home branch is Chiang Mai.
