I believe that most airlines will only let you change your return ticket free of charge once if you fly in on 60 day Visa exempt, then extend 30 days. Then do a border bounce. You would have to change your return flight twice

How do people handle this

I've posted about this before, but I've got some new information...

I need a new phone. I go back to USA for 3 weeks about every 2-3 months. Too much time to want to deal with two phones. As far as I know AIS will require me to use a physical SIM. Verizon is saying they only offer phones with 2 eSIMs. Sales people are sometimes derps though .. or is the world really on its way to only eSIM?

Is it correct that you only need to do a new Tm30 if you leave Thailand? Traveling within Thailand does not require you to do so.

Hey all

A little confused! I have a few questions regarding DTV visa.

My husband is appying for the dtv visa, does he need to do a visa run every six months? Or can he just extend? Can he partake in courses? And does this visa allow multiple entry?

Also, If I piggy back of him as a Spouse, can I partake in courses?

Finally we have to proove ££, this would be for the both of us? Or do we need to proove that amount individually?

Thank you!

Need to do my first ever border-run at the end of the month.

Because of my location (Kanchanaburi) being about as far from a suitable border as can be, am considering using an agent, instead of undertaking the trip myself. If that's possible.

Do agents perform that for people?

If so, what's the likely cost and procedure?

How do I find a trustworthy agent?

Anything else I should be aware of?

Experienced help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Leaving to Jakarta on November 16th-22nd (no flight back yet) to apply for my DTV, wife and kid as dependent. I will apply Monday morning for the visa.

1) Would I need more time than that?.

2) Do I need to apply for my visa first then apply for my dependents after mine has been approved?

I submitted my DTV application yesterday and put my arrival date in Thailand as 25/10/24 because my doctors appointment slip is for 1/11/24.

That only allows 2 weeks between my lodgement and when I say I'm intending to arrive in Thailand.

Is that enough time? Very confident I've provided all documents to approve it but you never know of course.

Canberra Embassy in Australia.
