DTV easy entry at BKK.

It took exactly 10 business days to be approved while in Bali.. Everything has been done remotely. No need to go to the embassy.

I didn't really care to print anything out since they have it all in TDAC form.

It is just my second time in Thailand, but I witnessed people in front of me being interrogated for Visa runs.

So I thought to myself I want to do it in the most sustainable way possible.

Thank you Thailand for creating opportunities for us nomads.

Hello 👋

Applying for a non o immigrant visa based on marriage online via the thai e-visa official website

(1) For amount of days of stay is it ok to put for more than 90 days?

(2) is it on to use my wife’s address?

Thanks in advance 🙏

Three extension of stay questions: I enter Thailand with a non O visiting Thai family with the intention of applying for the 12 month extension of stay. I am aware that immigration offices accept applications either 30 or 45 days before the non O expires.

1. If I need to leave Thailand and return (with a re-entry permit), obviously before my non O expires, what is the latest date that I can apply for EOS?

2. If the under consideration period goes beyond the expiry date of my visa, is there a danger of going on overstay?

3. Could leaving Thailand and returning as in question 1 above detrimentally affect the approval of EOS?

TIA

Hi guys

Got a question.

I got medical procedure planned for this year, and since that will put me out of business for at least 3 to four months, I will do it in Thailand, so I can get nurtured back to health by my wife .

No I'm thinking about flying to Laos first

Get a two months visa at immigration there, and after surgery, go to immigration in my town to get extension (with a letter from my doctor )

Or

Go straight to Thailand

Get visa exempt, and than go immigration, with a letter from the doctor.

What is the best option.

Going to the embassy in my home country is kinda complicated, since I work offshore, and need to have my passport with me at all times.

What you think

Any information is welcome

Hello! Which Thai embassies in Asia have you had a more or less hassle-free experience applying for a multiple entry DTV visa? Thanks!

Hi all,

am looking at a DTV. Would love to hear from people that have actually applied for this recently. Would appreciate some advice, especially when and where to apply. Am in Hua Hin at the moment and leaving Thailand in 2 weeks.

I have accommodation booked for the month of September in Hua Hin.

Will be in Cape Town for August where I would have the whole month to tackle the DTV.

Please no hearsay 🙏

I’m completing the Non-OA visa application, and have a few questions.

The application requests the “7. Foreign Insurance Certificate, as stipulated by the Office of Insurance Commission and Health Insurance of Thailand, must be completed, signed, and stamped by the insurance company. The form can be downloaded from [members only]”.

The documents provided by the insurance company provide the exact same information as required in the form, but have a slightly different appearance than the downloaded form.

Should I have the exact form completed or is the priority to provide the required information? Any idea as to what would be acceptable to the embassy?

*The other issue is that the insurance policy is 5MB instead of 3MB or smaller. “6. Health Insurance issued by a Thai or foreign insurer, covering general illnesses, including COVID-19, with a minimum insured sum of 100,000 USD or 3,000,000 THB. “*

*What are the expectations here? Do they need the entire document? Is there a reliable free app that can further downsize the original 18 page PDF? *

I used a trial of Adobe Acrobat to compress the file further. It looked terrible, so I split the original file in half and compressed each half separately and rejoined them. It's both under the 3MB limit and more legible.

Thank you in advance.
