Can you apply for a tdac if you are living in Thailand and only leaving Thailand for a 1 or 2 days.
Hello ☺️🙏 me and my 2 babies (swedish citizen) entered Thailand on 60 days visa exempt. Im getting married to my thai boyfriend (the father) and doing the non o visa and the 1 year extension here in Thailand.
Does anyone here know what happends to my children? Can I somehow include them in my non o visa or they have to do visa runs?
Any help is appriciated ☺️
Just a head up for people with a Barclays Premier account in the UK.
Transfers are free from these accounts to a Thai Bank account.
Before you start
To complete an international payment you’ll need:
a PINsentry device
the IBAN or SWIFTBIC number of the bank you’re paying intoThey will
let you know how long the payment will take and if there are any charges before you confirm.
Today’s exchange rate is 42.93 GBP to the Baht
I know this doesn’t suit everyone but it’s for information purposes only
Also if you are trying to transfer 800k baht in from wise you can only do this in 50k baht increments so it’s a. Minimum of 16 transactions at approximately £8 for each one.
I’ll let everyone do the maths on this one
Absolutely not visa-related, this is and more: Am I being overly cautious when I brew my tea with filtered water? Normally Oolong tea which can take some heat so bring the water to approx 90C. Shouldn’t this kill all the buggers? Not to save money, I use a communal water-dispenser which gives 20 ltrs at 10 Baht. It’s to save my knees from the horror of toting the water. Tia
I see quite a few people on here have cancelled their DTV visas and transferred onto a work permit and Non B
Does anyone know after you do this- could you reapply for a new DTV visa let’s say after a few years (after you’ve worked for a few years in Thailand)
Hi! I work for a German online teaching company and want to apply for DTV - has anyone successfully received their DTV through online teaching with a company 🙂? Do you have advice? Are invoices enough or should I collect reviews from students/ ask for a contract from the company? 🙏
I normally get a non-immigrant 90-day visa from the embassy Will I still have to fill out the digital cards for the details as my visa will have that already ⁉️
Completely unrelated to visas or advice ;)

Hi I'm returning to Australia from Phuket on 8th May ( Jetstar) are we still using the Paper Incoming Passenger Card or is there a Digital App..(im reading many things and confusing)Many Thanks
When you entered Thailand on a DTV did immigration ask for BANK DOCUMENTS and if so how many months did they ask for or did they just want to see a traditional bank statement again?
Did it have to be a recent bank statement or the same one you applied for the Visa with? Do you perpetually have to have 500,000 baht for the entire 5 years untouched for immigration to not give you trouble every time you enter?
To be clear I'm not talking about your embassy requesting traditional bank statements I'm talking about did IMMIGRATION request to see bank statements on your first, second, third entry on DTV into Thailand after you have had your visa accepted by the embassy.
I understand everyones experience will be different depending on the officer but I want to hear your experiences. I'm asking because I want to keep my money in an investment account that generates a higher percentage yield on my cash than chase bank will. If I stay for 5 months I can always move the cash back to chase for a month to have a statement. Unless immigration wants to see 6 months of bank statements every time you enter.
