Hey everyone! 🙌

I’ve searched this group thoroughly and checked the official websites, but I couldn’t find clear answers to these specific questions — so I hope it’s okay to ask directly here. I’d *really* appreciate any insights or recent experiences you’re willing to share!

1. Income Requirements for the DTV (Workcation) Visa

I know there’s no *official* minimum income listed for the Workcation category — but from your personal experiences:

* Is there a general income level where people usually get approved?

* Or an income range where people tend to get denied?

I’m trying to figure out if the Workcation route is realistic for me, or if I should look into other visa options.

2. Financial Documents from Brazil

Since my company is based in Brazil, my tax documents are from the Brazilian tax agency.

* Do they need to be apostilled, or is a printout from the official tax site + translation enough?

* Can I translate them myself into English, or does it need to be done by a certified translator (in Brazil or Thailand)?

3. Originals vs. Digital Copies (Work Contracts or Proof of Income)

One of the companies I work with (in Norway) will provide a letter confirming my work and income, but they’ll send it as a PDF by email, not a physical original.

* Are PDF versions accepted, or do Thai immigration/embassies ever ask for the original hard copies?

Thanks so much in advance — I truly appreciate any tips, insights, or real experiences you’re open to sharing! 🙏

Los Angeles Thai Consulate DTV soft power approved in less than 2 hours! Seriously could not believe how fast that was…after reading it had taken some 4 weeks or more! Now all set to go Sept 21! Thanks all for the helpful info!

Guys, I’m a stock investor, made $250k on paper last year. Can I get a dtv as an entrepreneur? I’m all working for myself with my personal stock account.

So I have a rental property that I manage remotely. Basically it's one property and I am the landlord. Is that sufficient to get a DTV Visa? Thank you

Hello community!

I read that there are more than few cases of being questioned upon entry and having to show some documents (workation) that should match the one you used to apply.

Is this true?

Good morning all, I'm leaving Thailand tomorrow for a month and its the first time that I'm leaving on my Non o. As its only a single entry I'll need to apply for a re-entry permit. Ive been looking on Google and its says I can get this at Suvarnabhumi after security, I've been through security here countless times and I can honestly say I've never noticed anything between security and immigration. I was hoping someone who has done this at Suvarnahumi could offer a bit more of a detailed explanation as to where to do it. Thanks!

Do I need to be out of Thailand still when my husband is being added as a dependent, or can I be in Thailand and have just him be out of the country?

I’ll be coming to Thailand in the 90 day visa with plans to then apply for the non-o retirement visa.

I’ll need to open a bank account and deposit the 800,000 Baht.

How do I open a bank account without a permanent Thailand address?
