I have been in Thailand for almost 60 days and need to start the visa application process for the DTV.

Which surrounding country has quick turn around times and good pricing? I would appreciate any help, thank you!

Hi everyone . I have a valid DTV visa and will be leaving Thailand and re-entering by land soon.

Last time I re-entered by plane, immigration didn’t ask for anything other than my DTV visa. It was quick and smooth.

This time, since I’ll be entering via a land border (VIA Padang Besar, Malaysia) I just wanted to ask:

Has anyone ever been asked to show proof of funds when re-entering with a valid DTV visa?

And if so, would a brokerage investment account be accepted, or does it need to be a traditional bank account, like what was required for the initial application?

I applied for my Thai visa on June 24, and my flight is on August 9, but my application is still stuck on “Pending document check” status.

It hasn’t changed for weeks.

Has anyone experienced the same issue?

Is there anything I can do to get an update or response before my departure?

I am on a non-immigrant O visa. Immigration asks for my visa number on the new digital arrival card. What sounds like a perfectly simple question gets very puzzling when I try to figure out exactly what they want. I see one number on my original (3 month) non-immigrant visa, a different number on my retirement visa, and yet a third number on my visa extension. Which number do I use?

Ive tried to search for this in the group but cant find the right answers. We'll be living in Samui but will need to do visa runs obviously, what is the cheapest way people are doing this? Needing money to stretch as on a soft power DTV so no money coming in.

I had a none o visa that I extended by means of a re entry permit when I left Thailand 2 months ago.

That gave me to the original 90 day entry stamp 6th August.

Now I’m back in Thailand, my employer has changed my flight to leave after this date now.

Can I extend my stay at immigration?

I don’t want a 7 day overstay stamp TBH.

Hi, can you apply for workation dtv if you don't have tax slips or even pay tax. Where I come from if you are not living there you don't pay tax on income earned abroad or even income from local companies you freelance for.

I have not been in a country long enough to become tax resident either since turning freelance a few months ago.

I have an exclusive contract as consultant and can provide contract and invoices but those invoices are in my name not a business name, I don't have a business. Can of course provide screenshot, proof of work, company will write a letter and so it is just this tax thing that concerns me.

Guys I was send an email from Thai embassy regarding my e-visa for additional documents for previous travel history and I haven’t travelled out of my country before so I sent a letter do you think my visa will be accepted since I haven’t traveled out before
