I will do my first 90-day report in Bangkok (since moving here in September) at the end of this month. Then I will ask for a residence certificate. Then I will renew my driver's licenses. How long does it usually take to receive the residence certificate? Is there an express/next day service like in Chiang Mai? How long is the wait in the DLT app? Should I make an appointment now or wait until I get the residence certificate? Anything I can do to reduce the time I'm driving on expired licenses would be great. Thanks!

I will be entering Thailand on a non immagrint o visa based on having a Thai spouse.

Can this be extended for another 90 days or would I have to leave the country and apply for a new visa again ?

Just seeing how long I can stay without having to lodge the 400k in a bank account for the 1 year extension.

Cheers 🙂

I'm currently on a 30day visa exempt stamp and I would like to get on a trailing Non-O dependent visa based on foreigner/foreigner marriage here within Bangkok. Our marriage certificate is in Polish. If I understand correctly, does it mean I have to get it translated into English AND THEN Thai AND THEN take it to the MFA here? Or can I just go to the Polish Embassy and get it translated directly into Thai so that I can skip the MFA part?

I'm just confused because in the requirements it says it needs to be translated into English. But in order for it to be legalized by the Thai MFA, it needs to be in Thai.

Thanks for your insight!

Additional note: The marriage certificate is already legalized by the Polish MFA and Thai Embassy in Warsaw. It's just that it's all still in Polish.

Hello,

I hope you are well.

I am having some issues with my visa for Thailand in January 2024.

I applied for my E-visa in October but it was rejected as I completed it more than 3 months before my intended date of travel- however I did this as I was not going to be in the UK 1/2 months before.

Myself and my partner are currently in Northern Thailand ; we arrived here on the 2nd November and we are flying to Laos on 17th November.

We are then are travelling to Vietnam / Cambodia / Malaysia.

On the 24th January we have arranged a ferry from Langkawi to Koh Lipe , so will be re-entering Thailand for 51 days, so will need a 60-day visa in place.

I received an email to say that we cannot apply for the Visa online whilst not in the UK.

So, could you please help me on how I go about entering Thailand on the 24th January to Koh Lipe?

Thank you in advance.
