I just received my DTV! Will I need to show proof of onward travel when entering Thailand with this visa?

It's a multiple entry visa with 6 month stay. Can be extended for an additional 6 months.

Any suggestions for a Long Term Visa internship working in agriculture science and/or medical cannabis ?

I am an American (West Coast) entrepreneur in the regenerative cannabis and Permaculture movements with a university science degree who turned into a soil biology nerd and studied Korean Natural Farming (KNF) for the last 20 years from a laboratory.

In Thailand (on and off) for almost a year now, traveling all around this great country and as an ecologist and agriculturalist, it's too perfect. I don't want to leave, much to learn.

Starting to think about creative ways to learn and share in return for a Long Term Visa.

Medical Cannabis (endocannabinoid system and the entourage effect) is one of my specialties.

There is obviously a market for it….

I have taken the time to research the modern “political scene” of Thailand specifically with regards to cannabis.

From what I can understand there is a strong desire for this plant to remain medicine and not to be abused in any way.

I agree and it would be a dream to be able to work with that blessed plant in this great country.

Farming, Soil Health and Agroforestry in Thailand would be amazing too.

Any ideas?

I will arrive in BKK on November 22nd. Normally I buy a 30 day SIM card from AIS at the airport. This; Because I never stayed longer than 30 days in a row. I then reactivated the card when I return after a month or a few weeks in another country. This time I come with a 6 month visa. So I can (and will) stay 4 months. (interupted halfway by 5 days Kuala lumpur.

Who gives me the best advice for a SIM card with a lot of data for about 4 months or longer?

What is required beside 1900bht and my passport?

I stay in AirBnb, I did not get any paper from my host, is that a problem?

if my stay expires on 7.11, can I go there already at 25.10 or is there some maximum of days in advance you can go?

no one talks about applying the visa in Hong Kong? Want to know if they will ask to hand in some different or extra stuff for soft power(muay thai)

I am thinking apply from the thailand's neighbour countries : Laos, Vietname. Do I need to apply it from the same country that my employmen tcontract based? is this true?

If I’m in Asia, but my home is Ohio, should I apply in the Chicago embassy? I almost paid to start the petition and it looks everything is online with the eVisa

PD. I had an option to upload all the docs online and did that. Just stuck on payment waiting to see if are they gonna check the docs online or do they really ask me to visit the embassy?
