If you come by airport but they reject you and have to go back the country you come from.

Do they give you something like a "send back/not allowd to enter the country" stamp in your paspoort?

Dear group members,

I’m a French living in Phuket, currently holding a one-year Non-O Thai Child visa, which is set to expire on August 31st.

My daughter has dual nationality (Thai/French), and I’m now in the process of renewing my visa. However, immigration informed me that they no longer accept bank accounts from Bangkok Bank due to issues related to scams. They’ve asked me to open a new account with a different bank in order to proceed with the renewal.

I’ve visited several banks in Phuket, but so far, all of them have refused to open an account for me with my Non-O Thai Child visa. Some banks also require school enrollment documents (but my daughter is still too young), or they ask for an ED visa—which doesn’t apply, as she is Thai.

I’m a bit confused and honestly feeling stuck, so I’d really appreciate any advice or if anyone has experienced something similar and could share how they managed it.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best regards,

Clément

Currently on a non-b visa and am due in 4 weeks for 90 day report. Previously lived in bangkok and would do 90 day reports at chaengwattana.

6 weeks ago I moved to phang nga province and the place where I am staying submitted the tm30 at phang nga immigration. Does this mean I can now do my 90 day report at phang nga immigration or will I have to fly back to Bangkok to complete my 90 day report?

Good Morning,

I arrived in Feb and either didn't receive a TM6 or have lost it.

I'm going to fly out to Vietnam next week for a few days, does anyone know if I'll be issued a replacement TM6 at the airport?

I presume I wont fill out the TDAC for the first time until I'm due to return to Thailand?

Thank you for any info, I'm a little lost.

Any Aussies in here who've applied for the DTV via Sydney Thai consulate? I'm just wondering what they accept as proof of 500k baht since it seems to differ between embassies? thank you!

(Also, what doc did you use for showing location?)

First entry on my DTV via Bangkok Suvarnabhumi. Gave my passport, boarding pass and my cute little passport-size laminated DTV. The latter seemed to raise concern of the officer, she pressed the yellow button and I was pulled aside. Two other officers came, one checked the visa on her mobile terminal, another one invited me to a closed desk. Scanned my passport a few times, scanned my fingerprints twice (obviously something wasn’t working properly with the computer) then asked for TDAC. Checked the printed form, retyped my accommodation address, and stamped me in for 180 days.

Generally nice, easy and calm process.

Thanks again for this group for helping me out on each and every stage of the process of obtaining the visa!

Questions regarding non o thai spouse yearly extension at Changwatanna office.

Last time I collected extension after consideration period, proof of 400k in bank wasn't required, is this still correct?

Can letter from Bank showing balance and statement bè processed the day before applying? I know bankbook must be updated same day.

Have switched to condo lease and have tm30 from owner. Does wife still need tabien bahn shown + copy? Don't live there now. And is original lease need to be shown or just copy?

Thanks in advance.
