DTV question (Hanoi vs Taipei vs KL) (Softpower vs Job contract)
I’m a contractor for a company and I have my own freelance business.
First question is which one of those 3 should I go apply next week?
Second question would be should I go through to Muay Thai school route or rely on my contractor job position? (Not sure if it matters, I’m a sales director as a contractor, not full time employee)
Any suggestions would be helpful, thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks advice on where to apply for a visa among Hanoi, Taipei, and Kuala Lumpur while weighing the option of attending a Muay Thai school versus relying on their contractor job. Community comments suggest that Hanoi is the easiest for visa approval, Taipei offers a faster process, and KL is the most stringent. Furthermore, having proof of remote work or financial backing is crucial for a strong application.
Employed (contractor ok) with payslips / proof with a letter stating ability to work 100% remote, plus 500k in the bank, is about the most locked down sure thing I feel.
You want either a portfolio or a strong letter of engagement from your client.
Kl is the strictest embassy to get approval from. Hanoi would be the easiest out of those 3, Taipei the quickest. If you apply via your freelance role then no need to worry about renewing membership of a gym.
