Is it possible to get a long term rental agreement with DTV visa? Or is it completely irrelevant?

Looks like a visa exempt crackdown is under way

According to the article posted by my immigration office visa exempt entries are to be restricted to 2 at all borders, land and air. Extensions are no longer guaranteed either.

I try again, and hope for an answer - what is the scoop on the ETA system for EU/Sweden visitors? It was supposed to be introduced in the spring, but I find no information that it is supposed to be used now?

Is TDAC the only pre-arrival requirement for a 58 day stay?

Has anyone applied for a DTV with Phuket Muay Thai gym (location Rawai)? Please share your experience. Is it a trusted gym for DTV?

Any other gyms on Phuket support DTV applications (I also found Phuket King gym, but they have no refund policy according to their website)?

Hi!!

I am currently in Germany and have applied for the DTV visa. However, I would prefer not to wait for the approval in Germany. My plan is to travel to Thailand in the next few days under the visa exemption scheme. Once the DTV visa is approved, I would then travel to a neighboring country such as Vietnam or Cambodia, and re-enter Thailand a few days later—this time using the DTV visa.

Would this be possible?

I'm moving to Thailand from the U.S.; my wife is a dual citizen Thai/U.S. I previousy lived in Thailand for 3 years.

Question please: I'm retired from the U.S. government and have health insurance that covers me anywhere with no limits, but it does take some time to arrange payment.

In cae I am injured or sick and in the ER or in hosptial in Thailand, I assume that I should also have Thai medical insurance immediately available.

SInce I have my U.S. insurance, any suggestions on insurance companies in Thailand to speak with? I assume that my insurance cost will be greatly reduced(?), as ultimately my U.S. insurance will cover all costs.

Thank You!

Mark

I fulfilled my request to DTV that I would arrive in Thailand in 4-6 months from today, was that a mistake?
