Come this summer, I will be residing in Thailand and traveling back to the USA every two months to see family for a couple of weeks. It appears the multi-entry one year OA Visa would be best suited for me but I have a couple of questions.

Is the initial cost and renewals of the OA Visa still $200? I can't seem to find anything on Thailand's website.

Is there a limit to how many one year renewals I will be granted?

I noticed someone talking about their difficulty in acquiring health insurance. I am 72. Will I be able to obtain health insurance at the limits required by Thailand that will not break my bank?

Thanks so much!!

My Thai wife of 2 1/2 years has been working on trying to finalize her Green Card/I-130 Visa. USCIS received her application in January of ‘24. Does anyone have any idea how much longer this legal approach will take? Any insight will be welcomed. Thanks

I got DTV and I’m in Thailand now. I want to buy health insurance. The online application asks for Thai identification card number. Where do I get this ID card?

Hello guys,

I have a physical freelance contract in my hand. How can I submit it on online application?

Besides, I have payslips in my hand but it'll be in different language than the embassy's origin language (and my payslips are not in english or in thai). Would it be still ok to provide these documents?

Thank you

request for further documents on DTV type

i submitted all documents (payslip, proof of residence, bank statement, work contract). (Thai embassy vienna via website "thaievisa")

3 days later i got the request to submit additional documents

Other request documents (The DTV will be considered for remote workers, digital nomads, freelancers, and participants in certain cultural activities. Please upload a cover letter specifying which category you align with.”

what could be the reason, since i already provided my work contract.

* because the 100 % remote work is not explicitly mentioned im the work contract?

* from your experience, was the specific mentioning of 100% remote work required ?

* is an explicit cover letter next to the work contract required?

thank you

I couldn't make an appointment for me and my family's annual extension (Section N), so will need to get queue tickets. We are staying in the hotel at the govt. complex, so I will be able to get there when it opens (8am?). Can I get queue tickets for all three of us if I have everyone's passport, so that my family can wait in the hotel until nearer the time we'll be seen?
