Can I "renew" a marriage visa into a retirement Visa or do I need to start over with the retirement Visa process?

Hello

I have 2 quick questions. Can I get a retirement visa and then switch it over to a marriage visa? Second question: If I got a retirement visa in January, would I be able to leave in February and come back in April or May without issue? I appreciate your opinions.

God bless

I understand you need to maintain about 800,000 baht in an account to renew/keep the retirement Non O visa (or at least have it in there for 6 months before renewal) but I’ve heard you can withdraw funds momentarily and go below the 800,000 is this true? And I send money into my account regularly from Canada but is it possible to send it the other way? I mean back to Canada, with a banking app

Asking for a friend who is visiting me in Thailand soon.

1. Are yellow fever cards requested by Thai authorities for travellers coming from Africa? Her whole family is vaccinated but one physical card has been lost. She has an electronic scan of it and we are wondering if this will be enough?

2. Do travellers coming from Africa, but transiting in Doha, need to pass by a special control or separate queue at BKK?

Thank you for any insights 🙏🏾

Hi all. Getting conflicting information about how long the ฿800K needs to be in the bank before renewing retirement extension. Some say 3 months, some say 2. Will be apply for renewal in Phetchaburi province. Thanks. Would go and ask but I’m in another province for a bit. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hi i recently applied for a dtv in Hanoi on the 6th Dec through a language school but was rejected on the 11th Dec without requesting additional documents or any given reason. I had bank statements with well over the minimum however I did black out my account number.

I'm thinking of heading to Vientiane and reapplying. Should I use the same school papers or go through an agency and do Muay Thai.

Has any one had experience or shed some light on a second application.

Thanks in advance.

Hi all,

UK, 30s, looking at the DTV 5-year Muay Thai visa and had a few quick questions:

1) I meet the 500k THB requirement but it’s split across a couple of investment accounts.

Do they accept multiple statements or is it safer to move it all into one bank account first?

2) Best place to apply if I’m currently in Thailand?

Happy to fly anywhere but want to keep costs down.

3) Roughly how long is processing taking at the moment?

Also — I’ve got another account with 500k but the money comes from betting exchange trading.

I’m guessing it’s best not to mention that on the application given Thailand’s stance on gambling?

Thanks in advance !

Hey guys,

I applied for my visa 1 month ago ( from Austria) and it’s still in processing. My flight was suppose to be at 9.th (now changed to 22) December because the visa wasn’t ready. Does anyone has a email which I can contact. Or any idea why it takes so long 🥲🥲🥲 I can’t change the flight anymore so I need to take that flight
