What should I consider when reapplying for a DTV visa after a rejection in Vietnam?

Dec 15, 2025
Hi i recently applied for a dtv in Hanoi on the 6th Dec through a language school but was rejected on the 11th Dec without requesting additional documents or any given reason. I had bank statements with well over the minimum however I did black out my account number.

I'm thinking of heading to Vientiane and reapplying. Should I use the same school papers or go through an agency and do Muay Thai.

Has any one had experience or shed some light on a second application.

Thanks in advance.

Blackout your account number!!

Are you serious?

You deserve to be rejected...

Because the statement should be orginal and as same as you get it out from bank.

Play on it or add to it ir cover details mean it is not orginal and ending with rejected

Yet. Language School like for Language is not the correct option to seek DTV

Language schools would be applicable for ED visas, not DTV.

And covering your bank account number does nothing for security reasons. Are you worried that they're going to transfer you free money?

Vientiane embassy had a sign upsaying they will not process any visas from December 21-Jan 2. I looked at it again today and it was for 2024 but still posted. So, they just left it up for a year. And no, I’m not in Kansas but you’re certainly rude.

Pure Language courses are not usually approved. There are some that include some cultural activities too that are. As the other poster says, change the SP.
