I have a non O visa 90 days and arrived in Thailand the 28 October, I am 67 and married to a Thai.

We planning to fly back to Norway at the end of April (max 6 months), therefore wonder is it the same if we go a couple of days to Laos by land and back an get 60 days and try to get more 30 days in the immigration or do we have to fly out of Thailand and do the same?

I received a non o visa good from Nov 14 to Feb 11. My arrival and departure dates on my airline tickets are Dec 5 2025 to March 4 2026. Will I be able to get an extension on my Non O visa or will I need to fly out of Thailand and come back in on visa exempt or some other scheme.

Hello everyone, I'm working on my DTV visa. I have a question for the experienced among us. When entering Thailand, were you asked to show a ticket for a flight out of Thailand? I'm debating whether to close a ticket when I don't know when I'll be leaving Thailand during the year.😊

Whilst in Thailand for two months initially, i need to buy a SIM for opening a bank account. But also to speak with family back home.

The house we are renting doesnt have wifi and i dont want to install one for just two months.

What are the best data packages in Thailand for unlimited wifi so I can tether my iPad to my iPhone?

Does immigration have DTV details like category and subcategories? At the time of entry or exit do they know whether it is workation or Soft power? I am just curious because it is not mentioned on visa

Does anyone know when you don't check within the 3 days after you arrive back in thailand with the local immigration office, what happens? I know you get a fine, can it affect you leaving the country or entering again?

Thank you in advance.

I will be applying in London for the Workcation DTV in in Feb time and I am aware they might ask for self assessment tax proof. I will not have any proof because I will be applying in February and I can only file my self assessment in April. My freelance work started in May 2025 so I do not have a completed tax return yet.

Do you have any suggestions for what I should provide if they ask for this?

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice about applying for a DTV.

How long does approval usually take, and what evidence is best to submit? I have a website portfolio that shows my work, but I’m not sure if that’s enough.

For proof of funds, can I use statements from my investments on Freetrade, where my money is currently held? Would that be accepted for the DTV?

I’m currently living in the UK (since July 2025), and before that I was travelling through multiple countries.

Thanks in advance for any help!
